So this is pretty minor, but would be great to fix!
It just so happens that I have 10 mail folders, so do not need to be able to scroll the account list view (when my mail account is expanded). The floating "compose new mail" button at the bottom right obscures the count for the very last folder. Normally this button would float away off screen when you scroll the items up. However, because I can't scroll the items the button is permanently there, obscuring the last count! I'll add a screenshot so you can see this in action.
There's a pretty trivial fix... I don't really need/want a "compose new mail" button on the account list, only on the message list. If there was the option to hide the "compose new mail" button on the account list the problem would be gone :)
There are probably many other fixes possible, and I doubt this will ever be super-high priority, but if you're looking for low hanging fruit... :)
Cheers, and many thanks for creating such an awesome mail app!

Unfortunately that's a system level behavior.
However, AquaMail has already an option to deactivate this "awesome" button:
> Menu > Settings > Look and feel > disable "Floating action button"
Beforehand you have to choose one of the three themes "Light", "Dark with light messages" or " including messages" (other than Light ("Material design").

Re: Unfortunately that's a system level behavior
It's not, the FAB is entirely my implementation, but...
Yes, I suppose it can get in the way sometimes.
Usually it "floats" away on scroll, and yes, I understand that with your number of folders, you're hitting the exact spot where it doesn't (because there is no scrolling).
