Hello,
I am trying to open outlook ics calendar invites sent over email (My pop3). I am getting Parse error. Is there any settings to support .ics files or any plugins. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Vikram

Parse error?
The app treats .ics invites as attachments, and doesn't open them on its own. Rather, it asks Android to open them using whatever app is installed (as with any attachment).
If you're getting the error in the .ics / calendar app, please contact its developer.

Hi,
I'm generally a big fan of Android's mechanism for delegating intents to other applications, but in the case of email invites, relying on this has a major shortcoming. It only works well when all you want is to import a calendar entry. However, when I get an invite, I usually want to be able to accept, decline or propose a new time like in Outlook or any enterprise-ready mail application.
The ICS stock application as well as K9mail provide this functionality out of the box.
Do you think it'd be feasible to include this in one of the upcoming releases?
Thanks, Simon

Kaiten didn't support ICS handling AFAIK. I used it until some months ago and until that time there was no processing of meeting invitations.
Anyway, I agree that the mail client should be the one handling such processing, allowing you to answer or propose changes.
Edit: sorry, now I see you mean K9. Isn't that one the open source counterpart of Kaiten by the same developer? You sure it supports ICS handling? Maybe Kostya can take a look at their github to see how they handle that.

Yes, I understand this is very desirable. Thanks. Could someone send an invite to "kman / at sign / yandex / dot ru"?
