Hello. Have just started with Pro version.
I cannot back up. [Backup] keeps coming back to the password input page.
I'm trying to save to the internal memory, not to Gluggles Cloud as I wish to keep Google out of my life as far as possible.
Backup doesn't seem to accept a folder on the device despite my having selected one in the 0/range.
Where do I go from here ?
Regards,
Cheemag?

Backup doesn't coming back, it's going forward to the password input page :)
How can I make a backup of my mail accounts?
Use Menu in the main window, then choose “Backup and Restore”. You can choose the folder by tapping on the grey "Folder" button > Then tap on "Backup" > on the next screen you 1. have to enter a password and 2. can choose back up all account settings, and optionally include the program’s settings > OK .
Please note that the backup file is encrypted.

The "root" of the "memory card that's not a memory card" on recent Android versions is:
/storage/emulated/0/
and you might want to create a folder under that using a file manager.

At that stage I've already entered a password ... twice. It keeps going back there.

There are already two folders there in a folder named backup: aquamail and aquamail.account.backup which appear to be encrypted. Are these the result of what I have been trying to achieve?
If so, I'll move them to the real SDcard where hopefully Gluggle won't be able to access them.

Yes, AquaMail AquaMail's backup file is named "aquamail.account.backup"
You can move this file to the (external) SD card by using a file manager app.

This is all sorted now. Thanks to all who responded.
