AkrutoSync allows syncing with Outlook on a PC by emulating Exchange Server
It only supports syncing Calendar, not email
I can connect to it and sync if I create an Exchange account in GMail Android application,
but if I try to do it from AquaMail, it fails and AquaMail says the server didn't respond.
In fact, I can see that the server drops the connection.
I realize this is a very "niche" case and maybe I am the only one who has tried to do this.
But I would really like to use AquaMail for this instead of GMail.
Any chance of getting this to work?

The log is rather short... Only has an auth failure (login error).
AquaMail's Exchange code:
- Uses EWS (Exchange Web Services) to connect to Exchange
- Written based on Microsoft's EWS specification
Maybe AkrutoSync doesn't support EWS (only supports ActiveSync)?
Maybe AkrutoSync supports EWS, but its implementation of this particular network protocol is incomplete / buggy (same as with Kerio)?
Maybe their definition of "emulates Exchange server" is "we implement just some of the commands the ones that Outlook seems to use and ignored the rest"?

Thanks for taking time to reply.
I have a very long log, and I posted the extract that I thought might be relevant.
I can post more if desired.
I was not aware of the difference between ActiveSync and EWS for Exchange
protocols. That may be the answer; I will investigate further.

Feel free to send the log by email -- kmansoft / gmail
Or upload to Google Drive or Dropbox and "share with" that address.

Oh about the log file size.
Should not be too large if you:
- Make sure the setting is off
- Delete the file
- Enable logging (this will re-create the file)
- Try adding the account again
- Turn off logging after the above completes (fails)
Either way, I'm reachable by email and Drive or Dropbox are fine with me too.
