Hi everybody !
From 10/12 days I have a problem with the app ...
When I select a mail and I tap on the Trash Can icon to Delete the mail ... all seems fine ... also after the confirmation ...
But after some minutes I receive the notification of a new mail ... But it is the same mail that I deleted ... And the mail appears again in the Inbox folder ...
In fact if I go to "Deleted" folder after I delete a mail ... there is nothing in it ...
Is there some solution to this issue/bug ??
Best Regards,
Federico.

The mail provider must have renamed the Deleted folder on the server (so AquaMail moving messages there is failing).
To fix please do this:
- Long press the account
- Options and Folders
- Folders
Let it refresh
- Find the server side Trash folder (Deleted, Bin, Deleted Items, Deleted Messages, etc.)
- Tap the folder name, choose "Sync with [ Deleted ]"
-
Hi ! Thanks for the quick answer !
But I don't understand the steps ...
- Long press the account
- Options and Folders
- Folders
ok ...
In the "Option and Folders" -> "Folders" section there is only "Inbox - Sync (plain Folder)" that I can tap but nothing happen and a gearwheel where you can only check or uncheck "Color Indicator", "Show in Smart Folder" and change the Number of "Messages to keep" ...
So, I don't understand what I have to refresh ... And the last two steps:
- Find the server side Trash folder (Deleted, Bin, Deleted Items, Deleted Messages, etc.)
- Tap the folder name, choose "Sync with [ Deleted ]"
Where I can find the Trash Folder ? in the App ? or with a File Manager in my Phone ?
Thanks Again and, obsiously, Great App !!!

Hi,
You should see the [ Deleted ] folder in that Folder screen:> go to the App's main window (account list view) > long press on Account name > Options and folders > Folders > just let the app enough time to (automatically) refresh the folders list
There should appear some system folders... Sent, Trash, Draft... not only Inbox.
-> see screenshot(s) as an example
You will find more information in the FAQ:
http://www.aqua-mail.com/?page_id=227
On this page please search for "How do I access server side folders?".

I have different "Options and Folders" page in my account ... Maybe because is a POP3 Account ?
And there is only Input Folder ... no others ... also after 5 minutes ...
-
Ah, you've got a POP3 not IMAP account. No access to server folders there.
Still, what you're describing should not be happening.
How many messages do you have in [ Deleted ] in AquaMail right now? What about on the server (the number next to Inbox in AquaMail)?
If you've got hundreds of messages in [ Deleted ], please empty it (long press [ Deleted ], choose "delete all"). This will delete those messages from the server.

If it doesn't help:
- Did you ever enable conversations in 1.6.0 or not?
- Can you make a screenshot of "options and folders" -> "account options" (one screen "down" from your existing screenshot)?
