I have 1 exchange and several POP accounts. For the POP accounts sent emails go in to the sent folder no problems. For the exchange account they dont - just seem to disappear after they are sent.
Have I missed something obvious as to where they are stored?!
thanks

Please try an additional option in Account settings:
> go to Account list view (App's main window) > long press on Account name (your Exchange account) > Options and folders > Composing and sending > sroll down and enable option "Save sent messages (to Sent folder after sending)"
This should solve your problem.

Thanks for the fast reply!! That *nearly* solves my problem - I have noticed that if I create a*new* message these are saved. If I *reply* to a message they are not stored there.
have they gone somewhere else??

Reply where? In AquaMail?
Exchange assigns the Sent messages folder automagically, and saves messages there too.
Is there a [ Sent ] folder in the app's main window? Does it have a "color marker" on the left (a small triangle)?
What happens if you send a message from web mail or Outlook, do those get pulled down into AquaMail?

Sorry for the confusion....
Yes, if I *reply* to a message, then its doesnt appear to be stored in AquaMail. I have gone in to "Manage folders" where there are two sent folders, both of which are now set to synchronise (and have triangles next to them).
And, yes, if I send a mail from OWA it gets synced in to AquaMail.
thanks!

Um, there should not be two sent folders, that's my first thought.
Exchange servers have a notion of what "the" sent folder is, and AquaMail works with that one.
Second, letting them sync "as incoming" is strange too -- it means that Aqua won't know them as "folders for sent messages".
There is got to be a third one, the predefined Exchange server side Sent folder.

Or putting it differently:
Exchange has a predefined Sent folder (actual name may vary), and that's the one AquaMail is going to try and use.
Seems like your account's folder configuration wrt. sent folders is different, messed up.

I did wonder why there were two sent folders!!
I used to use K9 and looking at the messages in one Sent folder they *might* be ones sent from that. The other Sent folder appears to be the one used by OWA and Outlook. Interestingly, *some* messages have appeared and its possible that only messages sent internally on the same domain dont appear. **BUT** when I pull down on the folder to refresh it, the messages briefly appear (they are there) then disappear. If I send a message to an external domain it appears OK

K9 has a habit of creating those "special" folders.
Re: appearing and disappearing.
I'd like to see a debug log of that.
