Title: Multiple Profiles Using a Shared Mailbox
Post by: Sdrohrm on November 19, 2015, 10:14:04 pm
Good day all,
I am a new user of AquaMail Pro. So far I am really pleased to be able to incorporate both of my corporate email accounts, 1 private and 1 shared mailbox, into one email app. There is an issue which i have not yet found a way to get around. Our shared mailbox is accessed by 5 team members. When we reply to emails, out of the shared mailbox, the reply is sent via our private mailbox. Right now I am able to respond to and send emails from my private mailbox but when I try to respond to a customer's email from the shared mailbox I receive an error message "error submitting outgoing mail, sendasdenied". I suspect this is because I have not found a way to identify my private mailbox as the primary mail transport. It is possible that I have overlooked this or just cannot find where that setting can be made.

Any thoughts on this?

SendAsDenied -- the error code comes from the server and means the server "thinks" that the message's From is not something it can accept (has rights to send messages).

It can also be an obscure (but possible) configuration corruption on the server.

You need to talk to the IT guys, a Google Web search for "Exchange SendAsDenied" finds a few discussions (with suggested server config fixes).
