Title: Exchange contacts dissapeared
Post by: Mr.Tee on October 16, 2015, 04:37:36 pm
Hi,

Suddenly some weeks ago some of my Exchange contacts dissapeared, but I still see a few of them, but not all.

If I go into the phone setting and choose Settings > Accounts > Aqua-Mail (Exchange) > then I see a slider enabled for Email Sync and Calendar Sync, but no CONTACT SYNC... which I think has been here before...?!

Phone details:
- OnePlus-One phone with rooted software
- Cyanogen OS-version 12.1-YOG4PAS1N0
- Android version 5.1.1

It has been working fine here on same version before.

All should be the newest version, and also I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Aqua-Mail app and PRO key... same problem.

So seems like it might have happend after a possible Aqua-Mail app update pushed to the phone from Google Play...?!

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Mr. Tee

Hi,
It could  be an OS bug:

Oh it could be also helpful to have a look into this thread:

There is not and never was Contact Sync for Exchange in AquaMail.

Your Exchange contact are available in the app itself -- in its own contact picker (buttons to the left of each recipient entry field) and the recipient entry fields themselves (autocomplete).

They do not, however, sync with the system Contacts app. Sorry (but actually, a few users expressed a preference for the current setup -- for privacy / security reasons).
