Hello
I have an LG G3. I have found that when I am sent ics meeting request. In AquaMail I open and accept the meeting request. AM sends a confirmation email. I immediately check my contacts and find a new contact has been created with an system generated email address (I assume) by icloud or iphone that is embedded in the calendar. See the attached images of 1) email 2) acceptance GUID 3) email contact. In the images you can see this email.
This only occurs with AM no other mail apps that I have tried.
Please see the images.

Hi,
You can disable the option automatically "Auto-add contacts" to system contacts in the app settings
> Settings > Contacts > scroll down to the very last option in this section.

Hi Mike
I had previously unchecked this setting and I continue to have this issue. I appreciate the assistance though.

Hi,
So, this is an issue where Kostya as the developer will ve a lokk into it.
But please be patient, since he is currently very busy in development of some major features.
In the meantime enjoy Aquamail.

This has come up before, and it's Google Calendar (or, to be more exact -- the low-level Calendar code in Android) saving the contact.
Not AquaMail.

Ive done some more testing of my own and noticed it only happens when I send a confirmation email to accept the invite

Gmail has a setting (in web mail) to automatically save contacts from all outgoing messages. It is enabled by default.
And I'll say it again -- AquaMail does not save contacts when saving a calendar event.

Ah. That's good to know. Thank you for the explanation.
