Did you notice "assign color" for Smart Folder / Combined Drafts?
-
new option: own color selectable for FAB
not combined with the title - iconbar
-
Hi, Kostya (and all)
Fantastic - and very useful - new feature, indeed ! Bravo :)
Just was wondering if it would be possible to implement ability to choose another location for this folder ? He's currently at top so an option to move it at bottom (see screenshot) would be perfect !
Have a nice day !

As far as it "sticking" to the bottom of the window -- don't see that happening, sorry.
Positioned below the accounts, and scrolling with them? Technically possible, but seems a bit weird.
-
Yes, this new feature is fantastic :)
- combined draft
- assign color to Smart folder and Drafts
I still think that a "Combined Deleted" folder would be great also.
Thank you Kostya
I am curious why would people want to have a "combined deleted" folder?
I personally don't like and don't use even a combined inbox, but I understand why some people with a different workflow than mine might want to use that.
I somewhat understand some rational behind a combined draft folder, but even that sounds more of an adornment than real functionality. But what is useful in a combined "deleted" folder?
It is not something that you are checking or looking into regularly (or at all?). I don't think I've ever looked in the deleted folder in Aquamail. And the only reason I can see one might want to look into that folder is when something was deleted by mistake. (And except for Gmail accounts, I delete messages without that "buffer". I also do not use "recycle bin" in Windows.)
Can you describe some scenario/use case where that is really helpful?
And just in case, - I have nothing against it, as long as it is not forced upon all users (and that doesn't seem to happen any time soon, based on Kostya's attitude toward flexibility of options). -- It is just my natural curiosity that has been demanding answers for about a day now, since I've read your posting yesterday.

"some rational behind a combined draft folder"
I think the case here is:
Someone who sends a lot of messages, and wants to have *one* place to check ("did that important message go out?", "did I send it from the right account, to the right people?") without having to look under each account one by one.
"combined deleted"
I don't understand this one either.

please translate in italian following
Combined drafts --> Bozze unificate
Show drafts for all accounts in a special folder --> Mostra le bozze di tutti gli account in una cartella specifica
thanks

I love "combined sent forder" and "combined trash", because I currently use two accounts with a lot of email per day,I lost time to navigate two accounts to check sent, deleted...
thanks

And the actual "drafts" item in the app's main window?
Bozze unificata?
-
Not, similar but not equal:
Bozze unificate

"Bozze unificate"
Italian is too complicated. Russian is soooo much easier :)

Nice idea, feature to attach one message:
Select one message, select save as Pdf and send to...
Solved the problem to include one message inside a new

But that's "Sent" as opposed to "Drafts".
Actually, keeping the "Drafts" separate helps to avoid sending.
The only rational I can see behind the common "Drafts" is for those who send a lot of e-mails from the mobile device from different accounts and want to make sure all messages have been sent.
"combined deleted"

Ok, so it isn't just me. :)
I love "combined sent forder" and "combined trash", because I currently use two accounts with a lot of email per day,I lost time to navigate two accounts to check sent, deleted...
So, the half-million dollar question is:
Why would you be checking "deleted" (on anywhat regular basis or at all)?
-

Oh, right! Shows too how confused I am by this new feature.
But there have been numerous requests, so there it is, and apparently there are people who think it helps them.

>> "combined deleted"
>> I don't understand this one either.
.
The rationale behind that:
- when a user manages many accounts in Smart folder, there's no single place where deleted messages can be displayed. The user has to look into deleted folders of all his/her accounts to retrieve this deleted message.
- it's a consistency aspect. All messages can now be displayed in Smart folder/Drafts, except deleted ones.
Why using deleted messages? Many users, many ways to use AquaMail. It's a matter of double checking before removing from server, lack of unlimited space of storage, etc. Nobody is forced to use Deleted, of course. It's just a feature to complete the consistency of Smart folder, which is - again - a unique and intelligent feature.
If I may: How often (say, per day, week or month) do you look in the Deleted folder?
