One of my 3 Yahoo accounts started throwing this message this morning. Very irritating as it's my main acct and AquaMail is light-years ahead of Yahoo's app for emailing.
-
That seems to be an issue at Yahoo's server side...
-
Oh joy... Yahell strikes again. >:(

I'm guessing that the IMAP command to "look into a folder" (like the "cd" command in DOS / Windows command line) is somehow failing.
If you renamed some folders, long press the account -> options and folders -> folders to make the app refresh.
However, you hadn't, or if it's the INBOX -- which is supposed to always be there, and is always called INBOX -- then it's most likely a Yahoo error (again).
Feel free to capture the issue in the app's debug log (see link in my signature below).

Haven't renamed folders recently, over 3 weeks since I created one even. It was working last night an this morning is failing.
Kostya, I think its Yahoo as I noticed in the Yahoo APP, the folders are jumping around in their order.

" folders are jumping around "
They must have reached a new level -- breaking their own mail app too :)

This sounds like a really great feature from the Yahoo team to delight their users

Just wanted to post, that I was having this problem Wed night to about Thurs mid-day. And then just as mysteriously as it arose, it was gone.
I suppose all of us with Yahoo email can hope that Verizon fixes stuff like this after they take control.
Yeah, it's a dream. ;)
