Title: messsge missing ftom server

Everyyime I check mail it appears to work until you open an individual message and it say message missing from server. What's up?

I am seeing the same issue and it seems to be specific to POP3 on gmail using the Samsung Galaxy Note II in conjunction with Outlook accessing the same gmail account. My LookOut client is set up to leave messages on the server forever. I checked the messages in my gmail account and they are in fact still there. It looks as though someone is marking the message as read which is to be expected. However on the Android side it seems as though when it sees the message as read it is misinterpreting it as gone, deleted, unavailable or whatever.

Please, please, please, don't use Gmail in POP3 mode unless you really know what you're doing.

The app has automatic setup for @gmail.com in IMAP mode. Please use that.

Google's POP3 server will "show" each message to one app, once, and that's it.

This optimization has nothing to do with my app. It's a Gmail server feature to keep POP3 working even for very large mailboxes.
