Hi - I would like to make sure that messages are deleted from the server once they are downloaded into aquamail. I can't seem to find the setting tool for this in aquamail account set up.Can you please help point me to it?
Thank you.

Thanks for your reply.
I don't like to have messages stored on the server - if messages are left on the server why would I need aquamail? I could just log in to the server or mail host (gmail etc) and use that platform. But Ilike aquamail - it's cool. With other mail programmes I have used (thunderbird or outlook) I can instruct the mail client to delete the message from the server and not run the risk of the server inbox getting full or worrying if it is hacked etc.
So I take it that aquamail can't offer a general delete off server setting, only by individual delete settings - yes?

If you don't like to store your emails on the server then I recommend to use a mail client on your desktop pc like Thunderbird or outlook... but never on a mobile device! The reason is, I if you lost your device you will also lost all your data including your messages...

I don't think a mobile device / app is the right "one basket" for long term message storage.
That's just my opinion of course, and it only applies to this one mail app, not others.
