Hello,
my company provide shared imap folders on all email addresses.
How can i subscribe to them?
All my other Clients show the Folders correct (Thunderbird, Postbox)
in Aqua mail they dont show up.
Thnx in advance,
RB

It depends on whether they're in a separate namespace (not supported) or in your personal namespace (supported)... where "namespace" is mail server terminology.
Have you tried long pressing the account -> options and folders -> folders to see if they're there?

Hello,
thanks for answering.
Yes, i tried this.
This only show me the standard folders like drafts, send and trash,
but there should be ten+ more folders.
Is there any chance Aquamail would support this in future versions?
I not want to change my beloved Aquamail :-)
Greetings from Germany,

I don't have any plans to support other (shared, public) namespaces, but...
.. it all depends on how the mail servers reports those "shared" folders.
Let's try something.
Long press the account -> account setup -> Manual.
Remove the checkbox from "Automatic" under "Namespace" and leave the Namespace empty. Press Next to validate.
After this, the app will take you into "folders" again, and your shared folders *just might* show.

Whoooozaaa! That works! Would you marry me, please? :-)
He warns me about the emty namespace,
but afterwards i can manually select which folder
is inbox, trash and draft.
Beside that, i see all the shared Folders.
NICE!
Thank you!
I would not have tried this in a hundered years :-)

Yep, it's just the way the server is configured:
Let's say personal namespace is "INBOX" and shared namespace is "SHARED", the actual folders would then be:
Inbox <<-- the folder, not the namespace
INBOX <<-- the namespace
Sent
Drafts
Deleted
Archives
SHARED
Sales
Marketing
And Aqua was only asking the server for folders under "INBOX".
With the namespace forced to "none", Aqua is now asking for all folders, and that includes everything under "SHARED".
