Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was wondering if there would be a way for AquaMail to only try to check my inbox when either (1) I'm on the company Wi-Fi or (2) I have the company VPN running (the open-source OpenConnect).
Or at least to get AquaMail to stop giving the "persistent incoming server network errors" warning when neither of these conditions is met.
Or maybe I could use Tasker/IFTTT/Llama to disable the Aqua-Mail app altogether when I'm off the company network?
I think MailDroid has a feature along these lines.
Thanks!

Well, there is nothing built into the app --
However, Aqua does have a Tasker plugin and you can turn an account level "sync mail" setting on and off as you wish.
And I guess triggering on the corporate network or the VPN should be pretty easy in Tasker... ?
