Title: Contact images not displayed

Over the last 2-3 weeks user contact images are not being displayed when viewing emails for some of my contacts. If I click on the surname icon that is now being displayed I am correctly taken to the appropriate contact and can see that the user does have an image. This issue seems to only apply to 1/3 of my emails and is occurring on contacts that were previously working.

I've had two emails about this --- and spent a lot of time with one user trying "this and that" with no avail...

Ultimately, he ended up removing and adding back his @gmail account in the device's system settings, and that fixed it.
