Title: Messages showing date and time downloaded, not date and time received?
Post by: kurrajongs on May 20, 2015, 01:23:20 am
Firstly, my gratitude for such an amazing app and the dedication shown by the developer.  Also, please forgive me if this has been raised before.  Can you tell me how to have the message list show when the emails have been received, rather than when they have been downloaded.  I hope I have been clear in my explanation, and any help would be wonderful.  Thank you all so very much :)

Thank you!!  I found it where you said, but the option for me was POP3.  Fixed and happy :)

Just wanted to mention -- the default date/time is actually "received by your mail server" not "fetched by AquaMail".

And the reason for this default is that occasionally someone will send a message with "Date: 1970" or wrong month / year, and then it was getting stuck on the receiving side in AquaMail, top or bottom of the message list... The date/time info from mail servers is more reliable.
