Title: Wrong icon shown when sending email to self and others
Post by: alexr on May 18, 2015, 01:48:04 am
I have a contacts entry for myself (as a normal contact), but which does not have a picture. The other members of my family have pictures in my contact list.

I just sent an email to my wife, brother and myself from the same account. For the email that I received in the Inbox Aqua Mail shows the picture of my wife instead of showing a blank image of the sender (me, who has no picture).

It looks as my wife sent me an email. Confusing. Looks like a bug.

Yes, messages sent by self show the first recipient's icon (and name).

I think it's more useful, esp. in the Sent folder, then seeing your own name / icon (which you already know what they are).

The message should have a small arrow in front of the sender, to indicate that it's a message you *sent* not just received.

That's not my experience... It shows that I am the sender even when I am not the first listed recipient.
