Title: Signature images quality
Post by: mattiebrownoz on March 26, 2015, 04:10:32 pm
Hi there,

Can anyone tell me why the quality of the images are such bad quality.

The original files are being saved at high quality from lightroom or photoshop. I guess there are some recommended specifications somewhere or some advice?

thanks.

Embedded images are intended for things like corporate logos or Twitter links.

They're not intended for high quality 20+ Mpix images. For those, please use attachments.

( and yes, there is a technical limitation, but let's avoid a discussion along the lines of "but in Outlook..." )

Ok. I'll take another look at it.

I wasn't using a 20 mb image though. More like 3 vector Ai logos on one image, exported to around a few hundred kb As a jpg.

Don't worry.  I wasn't going to talk about outlook. I just require something for mobile and am quite impressed with aquamail.

I just thought there may be recommended upload sizes and dimensions.....aat that's a no ?

It's not file size, it's image dimensions.

Technical reason: the Android text editor (which my rich text editor is based on) "does not want" to draw images wider than itself. They're there but don't show, I've tried.

Thanks for your speedy replies.

I'll do some experimenting.
