Hi,
I have a problem with my arcor account. If I use Thunderbird and switch through the folders I got an error message "Too many simultanous IMAP connections". I set it to only 1 connection but the error still pop-ups sometimes.
I found out that this only happens when I run AquaMail (on the home-lan).
Is there a way to limit the IMAP connections in AquaMail? Can I see the current count of connections?
Thanks in advance!

This is a limitation on Google's side, a Gmail account allows up to 15 simultaneous connections / logins per account -- ***counting all mail apps on all devices, mobile and desktop, excluding Google's own Gmail app, of course***
About what Aqua needs: one connection per folder set to "push" + one connection per account for scheduled mail checks.
Please see the FAQ for more details, it's at the end:

Possible causes:
- Too many folders in push mode
- Frequent connection loss
- Other mail apps that try to use push moder for every folder in the account, eating up the limit (since Gmail counts all apps on all devices).

Thanks for the quick reply. I think the connection loss can be the problem. I have to check this.
Sometimes the notification icon of AquaMail is visible, sometimes not. Is this a connection loss?

If you mean the "AquaMail / Push mail: <account>" yes, it disappears after a connection loss, and the app retries in about 15 seconds... a limited number of times... Then waits for the device's connectivity to come back and tries again.
