The smart folder message list view in 1.5.1.13 now shows a colored bar on the right margin that color codes each message by account origin. I find it a little obtrusive. Can it be disabled?
P.S. Thank you for all your hard work with the new release. Great app.

TimG, welcome in the forum.
Yes, there is an option in the app's settings:
... it's a somewhat "hidden" option 8)
> Menu > Settings > Smart Folder > enable option 'Account and folder names'
For more information about the background and 'making of' please have a look into the history of this option:

Thanks Mike. That is very helpful.
However the enabled "account and folder names" feature is just as ugly (more big splashes of color all over the message list). The previous version of AquaMail offered a nice clean smart folder message list without any color clutter. But I recognize that beauty is subjective, and other users have requested this new feature, so you can't please everyone.
If you decide to devote any further efforts in this direction, consider a more subtle approach. For example, the color refresh animation at the top of the list when a user swipes down is subtle, and quite attractive.
Regardless of the above, thank you for the constant innovation that you apply to this app. It is much appreciated.

Um, well, there were users pushing for those account / folder "hints" to show the color of each account, if assigned. And then someone wanted colors even if the "account / folder" hints were disabled, so I came up with those gradients. Now we have a third case, it seems :)
