Title: file type changed on download

clicking on a link in an email to a file - of type pdc when it is downloaded it appears to be txt (nb if I copy the link into a browser and download it comes as a pdc).

What in the world is PDC?

What do you expect the mime type to be?

What is the actual mime type in the message?
