Title: Notification sounds repeatedly lost

I have Aqua-mail installed on a Lenovo A10 70 tablet running Android 4.4.2. I set inbound notification sounds on the accounts,  the files are in /storage/sdcard1/audio/. The system would not let me put them in the system notifications folder. The files stay selected until I power off the tablet,  when they are lost and replaced on restart by a system default sound. How do I make the selection stick?

What if you force stop Aqua and bring up the account's "special settings" again -- are your sounds there at that point?

If they are, then it seems that Aqua is doing its part.
