Title: loads mail very slow since update

Since update to 1.5.1.13 the app loads email very slowly.

I'm having a similar experience. Starting to be VERY annoying/unacceptable - anywhere from 5 secs, up to 16 seconds to load inbox screen now.

2013 Moto X with KitKat 4.4

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

As a follow up, I read another thread and turning OFF contact images in the settings menu does seem to have sped it up again (~2 secs to load mail messages).

Which protocol are you using (POP3, IMAP or EWS)?

What is "the inbox screen"? Message list?

Please try Menu -> Compact the database in the app's main window.
