Title: 1.5.1.14.1 - Yahoo Mail workaround #2 (less optimal)
Post by: Kostya Vasilyev on January 18, 2015, 02:32:10 am
Not very good. Please use 1.5.1.15-y1 above if 1.5.1.13 doesn't help.

--

An alternative, less optimal, workaround for those accounts where 1.5.1.13 doesn't help.

Please try 1.5.1.13 and if that works, just keep it.

--

Алтернативный, и менее оптимальный, способ обхода ошибки Yahoo.

Сначала попробуйте 1.5.1.13 и если это сработает, останьтесь на ней.

It is important to push it to GP or you will sadly get many one stars reviews :(

The Apple Mail related thread here has 91 comments (at this time) and still nothing from Yahoo support.

I'm going to promote 1.5.1.13 to Google Play in an hour or two, and will have a link to 1.5.1.14.1 on my web site.

I just posted an new alternative workaround, which should work for everyone, even where 1.5.1.13 didn't help.

Now going to promote 1.5.1.13 to Play at 100%

This version stops working with Rackspace Exchange IMAP email - says something about "NO account" - have had to uninstall and install the previous version.

This -- 1.4.1.14.1 -- didn't really help (with Yahoo) as it was supposed to. Don't use it.

If you have a Yahoo account and 1.5.1.13 didn't work for you (it does for about 3/4 of affected Yahoo accounts) --

-- then please install 1.5.1.15-y1

Hi Kostya, sorry for this redundant question, but flagging Starred messages I expect to filter important only. What do you think about?
Is it true to view started list?

Thanks

@Fcasoli,
.uuh, I couldn't reproduce your screenshot within the Smart Folder...

... only the attached options in the menu > settings > Smart Folder > Smart Folder time period

The checkbox means: "include not only unread and read that falls inside the time period -- but also starred messages, even if they're already read or fall outside the time period".

@mikeone: it's the dashboard, not a menu
...

Thanks for your note.
I have to enable the option "Navigation drawer" (> Settings > Look and feel)  to see the Dashboard.

I would like to select Starred and view important only. Not to order by importance to have Starred at top...
