Hi, I am hoping you can help me
As the title says, I have AquaMail Pro 1.5.0.19 Running on a Samsung Galaxy S5
Everything has been fine until about a month ago, every photo attachment that comes through either has half of the photo greyed out or of its a document it begins to open then comes up with an AquaMail error "Error - The document cannot be opened because it is corrupted or damaged". This happens with PDF's, Word, Excel, everything.
Can someone help?

Obviously a horrible bug in AquaMail.
Oh wait, those discussions are about Outlook, Thunderbird, and Apple Mail, huh?

I found this thread with Google and I have exactly the same problem.
Running 10.6.8 and Mail 4.6 and have been a .mac member since 2002. My graphics and PDFs are always chopped up now and mainly the pdf's won't open.
I too have to go into icloud to get the proper attachments now. It also seems to mark read emails as unread occasionally so everyday I have to read a couple emails from 5 years ago or something!
This person is running Apple's Mail app on Apple's OS and Apple's hardware.
And yet he's also seeing this issue, corrupted attachments in his @mac / @me / @icloud account.
Strange, isn't it?
This might mean something, I'm just not exactly sure what...

I am having the same issue that for example pdf files held in the Me.Com apple mail imap folders will not download correctly to the Aqua Mail inbox (or indeed to Outlook). I have the latest Aquamail app.
This looks like an Apple Mail issue as I can log onto Apple Mail on the Web and see the complete document but can no longer sync them to my Notebook or tablet.
Anyone got any solutions? :-\

Have now tried the revised incoming mail server settings of p03-imap.mail.me.com and so far this seems to work. :D

This really needs to be brought up with Apple -- if this server was "forgotten" in a software update, it can be updated and stop working at any time.
There are two major ways to retrieve messages with IMAP:
1 - Ask for whole message at once (possibly up to a limit, but still, the whole message) -- and break up into text, attachments etc on the client. K9 and Android Email work this way, Outlook does too I believe.
2 - Ask the server to parse a message into parts, and then download specific parts (text content, an attachment). Aqua works this way.
I'm guessing the corruption happens when a mail app asks for a specific attachment (option 2) and not the whole message (option 1).
Needless to say, option 2 used by Aqua works just fine with dozens if not hundreds of mail servers / services from AOL to Zoho, and until approx. December 2014, worked fine with Apple's mail services too.
