This version breaks my exchange.  My inbox doesn't show all messages anymore

@bschelst

How about a debug log (capturing checking mail in this folder)? With "raw session data" enabled.

---

It looks like MS is currently rolling out an update to Office 365 (maybe other Exchange providers are doing it too) -- and one specific piece of data is not returned in a way that's documented.

I've only seen one user's debug log so far, and my fix above is based on that -- so I really do need to see another (log) to cross check.

I find it weird that the commands shown in Message List change when I go from one selected mail to two.

EDIT: actually it changes once my selection starts to include a mix of Read/Unread mails.

Specifically, Move to Folder is dropped.

In the version now in Play Store I can move 2 or more mails to a folder in one action.
In this development build this is no longer possible.

Is this 'works as designed'?

Yes, it changes based on actual read/unread states of your selected messages -- also starred / not starred.

If you only select read messages, then it makes no sense to have "mark read" command / icon, and vice versa.

As far as "move to..." goes... not true. I would guess you've selected multiple messages in the smart folder, and they belong to different accounts (making "move to..." meaningless).

Kostya,

This behaviour is not on the Smart Folder, which I do not use.

After seeing your screencopy I better understand what happens.

I use a tablet in portrait mode, and the message list has room for 4 icons plus the menu icon.

With one mail selected the 4 icons are:
Delete, Mark Read/Mark Unread, Star/Unstar, Move to...

With two mails selected (of unequal Read status) the 4 icons are:
Delete, Mark Unread,  Mark Read, Star.

With two mails selected there is no longer an icon for Move to....  but that action is available after pressing the Menu icon.

So it is still there, just not as accessible. I can definitely live with that. Thanks for the screencopy.

Well, there is only a limited amount of space to show action icons -- in portrait, or landscape, on phones, tablets -- no matter which, it never seems enough.

Good thing someone invented drop-down menus.

I just sent you a debug log for this issue, let me know if it helps.   Inbox not showing all emails now, just says all messages loaded.
*  This should've been under 1.5.1.10.

Just a note. I think this topic has a small error. 1.5.9.3 -> 1.5.1.9.3  ;)
