Title: questions
Post by: samsumg s4 on December 20, 2014, 01:36:20 am
Hi there,

I'm a new user and am having some difficulty.
1. I can't seem to send emails on WiFi, only when I'm using data.
2. How can I save contacts?
3. The only way I can recieve emails is by refreshing the page, I'd like to receive a notification once an email is received

Thanks!

Sounds like whatever server settings you have -- don't work (can't work) when the device is connected to WiFi.

This is outside Aqua's control -- whatever you've configured, and whatever your WiFi network is blocking...

One common thing is the outgoing server being configured to use port 25.

Port 25 is often blocked by home / office / public networks, for security reasons (real or imaginary).

And if it's blocked, well, that just can't possibly work, can it?

Please check / inquire if your *mail provider* (mail server) has other ways to connect (connection settings). Quite common: port 465 + SSL encryption, and usually not blocked.

Since you didn't mention anything about your mail service or mail server settings, that's all I could do (guess).
