Hi,
I am getting "Error loading complete message; Error writing to memory card"
Using the latest available update from Playstore.
Nexus 4, Android 5, stock setup
All three configured accounts are having same issue. Please see the attached logs.

Sounds like an OTA update went badly and lost some of the permissions.
I would recommend doing a full reinstall of Aqua. You might want to use the latest (-dev8.2) from this forum's "development builds" section -- it uses the 5.0's Material Design features.

Hi,
I have tried the dev8.2 version, but the same error persists.
Please see the attached log.

Joe

Thank you.
I added more logging to code around the failure in -dev8.6.
Please update and make a new log, so can better see *where* it's failing. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for sparing time to sort out the bug.
The error is still there with dev8.6. Please see the attached log.

Thank you.
I'm sorry, but I'm still not seeing where the error is, and having to ask you to do it again, with this version (-dev8.7):

Have I already mentioned that this issue doesn't exist on either of my devices with 5.0 -- which means I can't find the cause (on your phone) without your help, so thanks in advance.

Tried the new one. Got some more new errors. Should I try the stable app on a clean install phone?
BTW, the material design is too good.
Please see attachments.

Fine,
The new error message "Error loading complete message; Network error" is quite different from the first one ("Error loading complete message; Error writing to memory card").
The new issue seems to be outside AquaMail.
First of all please check if your devices have proper access to the Internet.
You can check this by typing the URL of your webmail into your browser's address bar: e.g. http://gmail.com

Yes, I do have net connection . Even with all these errors, it populates respective folders. Receives mails.
It is not a network connectivity issue.

*Solved*
I did a fresh install of Android 5 and tried Aqua mail (play store version) alone and it worked without any issues.
Sorry for wasting your time. I do appreciate your prompt response.
Thank you so much.
Best regards

Funny, I had serious performance issues with 5.0 on my 2012 Nexus 7... To the point of it being unusable. Had to do a full reset, it's better now.
So yeah, Android can be full of mysteries :)
