Hello, is there any way to delements the colored aquamarine icon at the top of the screen where the email notification shows up?

Hi,
AquaMail has an option to disable the statusbar icon:
Press menu > settings> Look and feel > uncheck 'Statusbar icon" (scroll down to the last third of the options).

You can try it even if the description contains a warning. So far no issues have been reported in the past.
