Reinstalled AquaMail after a long absence due to server changes. A bit of a newbie here and I tried searching the forum for my answer. I am using Google servers for my business and for a while all of my work emails came through Google, so as I received a message, the Gmail icon popped up in the top status bar, simple enough. Now that I installed to AquaMail, when I get an email, both AquaMail AND Gmail icon come up and the same message comes through on both apps. How do I override the Gmail icon, so I only see the AquaMail message? Sorry if this is a common problem, but couldn't seem to find it in a search. Thanks in advance.
I'm using HTC One (M7)/Android (version 4.4.3).

I disabled Gmail notifications and it seemed to work. Simple enough. Thanks!
