---
+ Phone sized devices: when the action bar is at the top, and there is little room for icons, "select" and "refresh" will be moved to the menu (not completely removed).
+ Color customization setting for message times and sizes in message list.
---
+ Телефоны (не планшеты): когда панель иконок расположена сверху, и там мало места, то иконки "выделить все" и "обновить" будут перемещены в меню (а не исчезнут вообще).

Its gettimg nicer and nicer for every update...just amazing work...
I just have one question since it looks you are in the "refreshing" fase of the apps ui;
When you select white theme everything is getting themed except for one thing. The popup window (confirmation window) when you for example select DELETE from the notification bar...
It would be really nice if also this window gets themed as the rest of Aquamail.
Take a look at the screenshot and you will see what I mean. The first is the dialog box when you select Delete from notification bar, and the second when you select Delete inside the app...

Yes, I know -- but that (and also widget configuration windows) are shown in the launcher, and which theme (light or dark or colorful) is more appropriate here is anyone's guess. I'd guess dark is more likely, though. I'll think about it.

italian translation
Color: message times and sizes

Translations updated.
"Pull to select" is a new feature, making life easier when the "select all" doesn't fit in the top icon bar -- when the Floating Action Bar is enabled. You can turn "pull to select" in app settings under "message list".

Spanish translation:
Color: message times and sizes
change to
Color: Hora del mensaje y tamaños

Just knowing that you consider it makes me impressed and greatful. I was thinking more of the fit of the design, since so many don't even install their own launchers, but uses the one coming with the phone, and most of the brands have been using since version 4.3, totally light theme, including the notification bar, and thinking of this, it would look more fitted don't you think ? ;)

I'm seeing a slight problem with this release on my stock Verizon Note 3:
When I check mail, the circular-wait-cursor just spins and spins and spins, even after all the mail has been read.
Attached is a screenshot of what I'm getting.
-
Can't reproduce with "plain" Note 3 (not Verizon).
Did this happen just once, or can you reproduce it again?
Does it only happen when the folder has no messages, or in any folder, even with messages?
-
I could reproduce it at will yesterday, but can't today. Yesterday, if the circular cursor was large, it would hang, if it was small, it would quit and go away normally.
Just consider it "one of those things" unless I can reproduce it... if I can, I'll let you know.
Thanks for such a great app!!!
-
Today it's back. I get the same thing, a large cursor that spins and spins, even when the mail has finished reading. I've tried to isolate it, but can't. It seems to always hang when there is mail, currently, it won't hang when I have no mail (in which case the spinning cursor is small). I've also noticed that sometimes when the cursor hangs, if I exit Aquamail, then re-launch, there is no cursor at all while reading mail.
Sorry I can't be more precise; I will try to narrow it down later today.
-
@jimfbk - thanks for the info. Perhaps related to orientation changes? Rotating the phone to landscape and back?
-
No, not orientation related, as my phone is always in portrait. I just upgraded Aquamail on my stock Nexus 7 - Gen 2 and I'm seeing the same thing.
I also noticed reports on the Google+ site of others seeing the same thing.
Thanks!

If I leave AquaMail running, the cursor will never stop spinning (OK, I didn't test "never," but I did leave it for 10 minutes). Sometimes, if I exit AM, when I re-launch it, the cursor is still spinning, other times the cursor is gone completely and doesn't reappear even when a new Sync occurs.
so:
a) no (unless you exit the app at least once)
b) n/a
c) n/a
-
>> If I leave AquaMail running, the cursor will never stop spinning
I assume this means: start refreshing a folder, minimize the app with Home key, return via the launcher icon after the folder's done synching.
Correct?
Just tried it on a Note 3, no luck...
-
Yes, that's correct. My one POP3 folder from one account takes very little time to sync, but the cursor will spin forever.
Sometimes, like you, I don't see it. I'm trying to figure out a fully reproducible case, but can't yet.
One thing I have noticed is that whenever the cursor is small, it won't stick on, when it is large it does. Still can't figure out why it's big sometimes and small other times, or what causes it. The small cursor is always immediately to the left of the word "Loading" but the big cursor is just centered horizontally in the screen.
Will continue to investigate.
-
I already posted the large circle on page 1 of this thread. I can't get the small circle in a screenshot, as it happens quite quickly. I've tried, but I'm too old and slow to press Sync in AM then press the correct key combination to generate a screenshot; I've tried.
Edit: There's hope for me yet, I got it using palm swipe on the Note. Attached are both screenshots:
-
Yes, I disable the FAB as I prefer to have the Refresh, NewEmail, Search and Select all buttons always visible.
I will disable and see if I can reproduce the issue.
Thanks!
-
Thanks. It's becoming a little clearer.
Do you or did you also rotate the phone (landscape / portrait), maybe the app is in portrait, and the home screen in landscape?
Or everything always in portrait?
-
Everything is always in portrait. Every once in a while, when viewing pictures (not in AM), I will allow for rotation, but rotation is locked to portrait on the Note.
Thanks.
P.S. Since I got this release of AM, the Note has always been locked to portrait mode.
-
Ok. Thanks.

I just posted a new dev build with an attempted fix.
http://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=3010.0
"Attempted" because I still was not able to reproduce.
Please try it out and let me know if it's any different.
-
Thanks! Trying it now, so far, so good, but I'll keep testing.

Even with build 1.5.1-25.4-dev7.2.3 it's the same behavior as before.
With enabled FAB and in portrait mode:
* The "spinning wheel" is located in the middle of the first message
* Sync time by using "pull to refresh" within each folder/subfolder is quite normal
* refresh in Smart Folder naturally takes much longer because AquaMail is syncing all account folders.
Means sync time is really acceptable at least for me.
