Title: Error connecting with Gmail
Post by: Browney on November 17, 2014, 12:07:10 am
Hello,

I am running CyanogenMod 11 on my galaxy s2. After I did an update to CM11-M12, I've been having trouble connecting to my gmail account. Before that everything worked fine.

When I do a manual setup of my IMAP setting I get the error message in the screenshot I included.
Any idea what the problem might be?

LOL.

I recall similar issues from before (also CM nightly). Those guys laugh at compatibility.

Please try Aqua settings -> network -> toggle SSL hardening back and forth, and reboot the phone.

That fixed it!
Thank you so much.

I really should disable using Android's "SSL caching" -- too many issues, and very little real benefit.. :)
