Title: Not all emails showing when changing "Messages to sync" option to " BY Time Peri

Good day,
Not sure if this is classified as a bug, so if it is incorrectly posted, I apologize in advance.
Basically, as the tile says, if I select 'Messages to sync" option and choose "7 days" under "By time period" Aqua Mail shows that there are unread messages, but no unread messages appear in the message list. If I then go back to "Messages to sync" and select "100 messages" then voila! they appear!!! This is an IMAP account for my work email.

I am using the free version of Aqua Mail, V1.5.0.19, on Android 2.3.5. (phone is an MTN Steppa, model SP355AWG)

Ok, sorry, maybe should have provided more detailed information. These emails are definitely on the email server, they are backup notifications that come through every morning at about the same time. it is usually only one or two that do not show up when the "By time period" is selected, as opposed to when the "100 messages" or what ever amount is selected.

Ok, the date of the emails not showing is for instance, today, 28/10/214. As I said earlier they are part of a bunch of DAILY backup emails that I get. ALL the emails (12 of them in total) have the same date, for instance today, 28/10/2014, it is only the time that changes and that is only by a few minutes.
As for a screenshot, sorry new to Android and not sure how to do screenshots. Also, it will now have to wait till tomorrow morning before I can post a screenshot, as all the emails have now been opened and viewed.

It should not be forgotten, that some IMAP mail servers are incapable of executing the "search by date range" command -- even though it's part of the baseline IMAP spec (not an extension, so has to be implemented by all IMAP servers).

I would be happy to look at debug logs if you provided them, two different kinds:

- First, the "message date diagnostic" test.

Long press the account -> "Diag: message dates" in the popup -> choose Inbox -> let it run to completion

You'll be prompted to send me a log file

- Second, the "flight recorder" log.

Please see my signature for "debug log" link.

Enable debug logging in the app's settings, set output to a file, make sure to turn on "Raw session  data".

Refresh the folder, wait to complete.

Email me log-AquaMail.txt as an attachment.

Switch off logging.

Hi all,
Ok, @paris geek, running your test seems to have resolved it, as I checked my new mails this morning and ALL emails were displaying when selecting the "Time Period" option. so thank you for that, I will keep an eye on it and come back if it plays up again.
@kostya, thank you, as above, it seems to be sorted, but will provide the logs if it plays up again.
