Title: unread
Post by: slfolkes on January 10, 2013, 02:39:02 am
I have 3 email accounts. One of them is hotmail. My problem: only the Hotmail account notifies me that there are unread emails. The other two sometimes notify me and other times nothing pops up. Other times there is a notification which disappears on it's own. The Hotmail account performs properly; the notification pops up and stays up until I open the message. I have checked the settings and the special settings and everything appears fine. I really like this app but this is a major problem for me. Help!

I understand how this could be a major problem.

Are the other accounts Yahoo by any chance? Or maybe GoDaddy?

Do messages come in as unread if you open their respective folders message lists?

One is a yahoo account. I actually don't know what the other ones is...it was set up by our system admin. (a business account). I believe it's pop though.

Sometimes they come in as unread. I can't identify any kind of pattern. It seems random.

I am currently experiencing  a similar situation. I have 3 accounts also. 1 is Gmail, the other 2 are POP3 accounts.
The  Gmail and 1 Pop3 show unread notifications as expected.
My home Pop3 account intermittently sounds a notification tone but when I check my email the message is gone from the folder.

I then check the server and the message is shown as unread. I check mail again and it does not upload the message to Aquamail. As I am sitting here right now I have about 40 unread messages on the server and none of them have been uploaded to AquaMail.

I also like this app alot but missing emails is a huge problem for me. I travel for my work and cannot miss emails.
