Title: Problem with handling of long messages
Post by: StR on August 30, 2014, 06:35:09 pm
Kostya,

I didn't figure out the systematics yet, but I've observed the following behavior:
When working exclusively with the mobile network (no Wi-Fi available), Aquamail downloaded incomplete messages. Then, when I am trying to download the complete message Aquamail says it cannot.
The message itself is rather long (~0.2 - 0.6 MB), text only.

Any suggestions of what I can try to help with the diagnostics?
(although I am not sure if I will be able to reproduce this soon, as I won't be without Wi-Fi for long periods of time again.)

When it "says it cannot" -- what is the actual error message? Network error, connection error, etc.?

The only way for me to see what's going on is the app's debug log (with "raw session data" enabled). This is linked in my signature.

Sorry, I don't remember what the exact message was... It was "something error", but I don't think that "something" was "network"...  I am not even sure it was "connection". It was more like "unable to download" or "unknown error"...

I will try to reproduce it and will follow up on that if and when that happens.

If you could reproduce it with the debug log enabled, and with "raw session data" enabled as well, that would be golden.
