so i just had to do a hard reset on my Galaxy S3 because of the fun that kitkat is putting us through and I tried to save my AquaMail settings b4 I did this and well i kept getting the error from my external sdcard
"This folder does not allow the creation of new files. Please pick another one"
I know for a fact that this is not the case and i had to reenter all the settings manually just wondering igf there is a work around.

Yes, this is KitKat's problem. Save settings to /storage/emulated/0/youraquamailsettings (internal sd card)
-
thats the issue, i needed to do a full reset and from what i have heard its gonna happen again, full reset erases the internal card

You can save settings by using your DROPBOX account.
Nice feature. Thank you Kostya ...8)

Dropbox is not for me, Google Drive FTW.

I rooted my Note 3 for this stupid reason.

Is rooting enough by itself?
Don't you also have to mess with some "policy" XML file somewhere, to tweak how permissions are granted?

yes, via Odin
CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5
and the root is ready 8)

I prefer Xposed modules. Xml editing is not needed.
