Hi,
great App, love it!
There is a problem with the Tasker Mail Check Action. If I set up manual mail check for all or 1 Account it has no effect - nothing happens.
Can anyone help/test please, perhaps it is just a configuration issue..?
How can I solve that?
Kind regards
Pascal

Pascal, I assume you mean that those accounts have "Scheduled mail checking" disabled in their Options and Folders?
A Tasker trigger should still check them all, I'll look into it tomorrow.

Thx!
Also if I have scheduled mail checking enabled it doesn't do anything.
I only use imap.
Would be great if you can make it work.

Hi,
I tried to reproduce the issue yesterday and could not.
Since scheduled mail checks aren't working for you at all, I think it's the same issue.
Could you check the device's system settings, under Accounts and Sync, and make sure the device's "master switch" allowing background sync is enabled?
My app tries to be a good citizen and won't sync in the background if this switch is disabled (per Google's recommendations).

Hi,
tested again. With sync enabled it works!
For me it would be better if the Tasker Mail Check Action also works with sync disabled. I think it could save quiet a little more battery for my fully optimized device 8).
If you only want to check mails when system sync enabled you could do it by a tasker if statement.
Would be less limited if tasker does what I want without external dependencies. Hope you understand what I mean.
Would be nice to see that in one of the next updates.
Kind regards

Push..? ::)

@kite
The developer is still very ill those days but getting better. Pleas have a little patience.
Thank you..

Have you tried to set in AquaMail the following:
Settings -> Receiving mail - > System settings . Set it "Sync even when Background data is off"
Try the Tasker Plugin with this settings.

That works. It was handy to enable imap push via the sync status bar toggle (not possible with these settings now) but i made a tasker toggle instead. Thank you!

Glad it works now. :)
