Title: Outlook exchange server imap error

I have configured Exchange server in imap mode using outlook.office365.com sever
 From last one week started getting errors "incoming server error. NO AUTHENTICATE FAILED" once this error comes app tries to connect repeatedly and is creating issue both in terms of battery drain and notification. Please help in fixing

The IMAP server behind Office 365 seems to often have broken authentication.

I can dig up multiple messages on Microsoft's support forums, but it's 2am on a Sunday night :)

FWIW - I just added my Office 365 account into Aqua and it worked fine including authentication (server is "outlook.office365.com").

But then, as I recall, the issue is sometimes account specific.

If you know that your password is right, how about contacting Microsoft support?

Hi Kostya,as always thanks for speedy respone but my issue is aquamail repeatedly tries to connect once this error comes. So how to stop that ? Its annoying and seems to eat battery

Are you using push?

Yes, when there is an auth failure, Aqua will retry, but only a limited number of times (about 3 or 5 maybe), not infinitely.
