Title: Open with collapsed accounts
Post by: Panander on July 26, 2014, 04:06:55 pm
Hello all ....

Is there anyway to open Aquamail without the first account (I have three) expanded?

Any and all help gratefully received.

Thanks

Hi Panander,

Go to the menue: settings - Account list - Expand account - select "None" or "With unread messages".

 Close and restart AquaMail.

I had selected "None" but the first account still opens expanded.

1.
Press and hold the "Recently Used Apps Button" (shown below). A menu will appear with a list of your recently-used apps.

2.
Close AquaMail by tapping on the AquaMail App and swiping it either to the left or right side.

3.
Restart AquaMail

I have done that but it still opens with the first account expanded still.

It works correctly on my Nexus 4 but not on the Nexus 10.

Which andriod versions are installed on your devices - especially on the Nexus 10?

In two panel UI mode, something's got to expand, to show what's in the right side pane (where is the message list attached to).

And there is a message list on the right, because something's got to be there (as opposed to leaving 2/3 of the screen blank).
