Title: Graphics resizing doesn't seem to work.
Post by: jdclarkson on July 21, 2014, 02:29:12 am
When I insert a graphic, either into my text or in a signature, and resize it to a fraction of it's original size, it looks great in Aqua mail. However, when the message is opened in any other email client, it appear in its original size regardless of what fractional reduction I have specified.

The only way I can work around this is to resize a graphic in another program like Photoshop before I insert it.  It's this a bug?

What are "any other" mail programs, specifically?

Does the image show embedded in text, or pulled out as an attachment?

I just checked the code, the scaling does get applied as <img width="original / scale" height="original / scale">

Maybe you could send me a test message with scaling applied (kmansoft / gmail).

SNAFU -- and I'm used to that.

Like there are still people who believe that GoDaddy's IMAP server is... well an IMAP server. To me, it's a random text generator.
