Title: sync to server for pop3 emails
Post by: jaym25 on January 06, 2013, 11:55:48 am
Thank you for a wonderful email client which I did purchase.  Please consider adding an option to "sync to server" for pop3 email that would remove emails that are deleted from the server by other applications.  You could also possibly move those emails to the deleted folder.  Perhaps the option could be a drop list with 3 choices...  No sync, delete completely, move to deleted folder.

You may also consider putting an option for the main screen to go straight to a folder when touching an account rather than expanding that account.  For example.  When you touch an account it goes straight to the inbox for that account and only when you touch the symbol on the far left does it expand and show the various folders within that account.

Thank you again for an excellent program.

Thanks for the suggestions.

For your second one, tapping the account's unread count (the number against a blue background, on the right) will open the first folder with unread messages. For POP3, this is of course the only folder.

I second the sync-to-server idea. It's a feature of K9 that comes in quite useful sometimes. In K9 you have to set it as an option in the settings but it would be nicer if it was possible to just long-click on an account and choose it from the context menu.
