Title: Hide folders
Post by: miscrap on June 30, 2014, 03:39:48 am
I have multiple email accounts for work, friends, hobbies, etc, plus I monitor my wife's accounts for her.  I only want to see the account name, not the Inbox, Draft, Sent etc. folders until I click on the account name.  I had this set up on my old phone, but just got a new phone and can't remember or find how to do it.

Thanks!

If those "special" folders sync with the server, they will always show, even if empty.

Now, if they don't, they won't.

For an IMAP account, you can switch sync of the app's special folders with the server in the account's options and folders -> folders.

Or you could remove the accounts and add them back in, in Manual mode, using POP3.

Settings>Account list>Expand accounts>None  gave me what I was looking for.

Ah. You may also want to enable a setting to open an account's inbox when you tap the account (rather than expanding).

It's in the same section, "account list".

Thanks, Kostya.  I already did that.  It's now working just how I like it.
