Title: Backup settings without password
Post by: Scott_Miller on June 27, 2014, 09:00:07 pm
Is it possible to backup settings without using a password? Even though I use passwords and encryption any chance I get, I prefer it to be my choice, not forced upon me. There are a few occasions when I choose not to do this. Thanks.

Scott

Not at this time.

Remember that the backup file has the passwords for all your mail accounts.

Also note that when working with the same device, Aqua will save and re-enter the password for you, so that

1) you only need to enter it once when backing up and 2) not again when restoring.

The saved password is stored in internal storage, so it's secure.
