Title: ERROR LOADING ATTACHMENTS
Post by: sdeweese on June 24, 2014, 09:18:20 am
Aquamail ver 1.3.8
Android ver 4.4.2
IMAP server

Cannot send any attachment.  Error flashes at bottom "Error Loading Attachments: Error Writing to Memory Card" and places message in draft folder.  Thought it may be to do with free version and paid for Pro with no change.

Did your phone recently get a 4.4 update?

Is the attachment download folder (in AquaMail) set to a "real" microSd card?

If so, please reset the download folder to the default location, "downloads" on the "large built-in storage".

In 4.4, Google severely limited applications' access to the "real" memory card.

If you're not using a "real" memory card, please check if there is room left on the "large built-in storage".

--

And if that's not it, please try the latest 1.4 build from this forum (under "development builds")

Thanks, changing the default back to internal worked.

This was on a Samsung PAD.

Google knows better where people should and should not be allowed to store files, on the devices / memory cards that they own. Makes sense, right?
