Is this account brand new in Aqua?

Or has this account been working with sending in Aqua?

If the latter, please contact your Exchange administrator, since this must have been a server side change.

If the former, I've seen this happen when a mail account has an alias (e.g. the account is really "johnsmith@corp.com", with "js@corp.com" as a shorthand alias). Sometimes the alias is not allowed to send messages, by a server policy, only the main account is.

The first issue that comes to mind is, the was no request from aqua foe administration access from the exchange server, like when I setup up Android email. .
Is there a way to log a more detailed response from aqua?

PS my account works fine in Android email.

Not sure I got this part:

"no request from aqua foe administration access from the exchange server" (and yes, I know the "aqua foe" is a typo)

And about this:

"like when I setup up Android email"

Aqua uses EWS, stock Android email uses ActiveSync, those are different network protocols. Some Exchange admins disable EWS altogether, and I guess it's possible to disable specifically sending via EWS too (via server configuration / policy).

"Can someone have a look at a debug log"

That someone would be me. The instructions for logging are linked below.
