Kostya,
A couple of questions:
1. How can I (if it is at all possible) transfer the settings of Aquamail and/or settings of the particular accounts on one device to a different device?
Are there particular files/folders that can be just copied for that?
2. If on one device I have two Google (Play) accounts, and Aquamail was installed from one, and I try to installed the Aquamail Pro unlocker via the second (different) account, - would this work? Or do I need to reinstall the base (free) version from the second account?
Thank you!

For 1) you can save your settings

you can save the backup and select the destination folder, so you can copy and paste to the second device.
The backup is available in menu list in accounts view.

Thanks a lot, that helps!
There is a check-mark option there "Back up app settings", so I am guessing if it is unchecked, it is only the account settings that are backed up? Is that right?
Conversely, I wonder if it is possible to save the application settings without saving the account information (e.g. if I wanted to share the configuration with a different person).

you cannot do a selective backup, you can save the complete backup and move to new folder, remowe accounts and do a new backup to share, after you restore the old backup and old settings... not so difficult if you want to share a bit

Thank you, Fcasoli for the help on (1).
I guess the second question is waiting for Kostya.
-
Second - yes, sure, just like with (almost) any other paid app.
Google saves your purchase history, so just
1) configure the new device with the same @gmail account in system settings, so that Google Play knows it's you
2) install the base app
3) install the unlocker, which will be marked in Play as "purchased" (after pt. 1), so you won't have to pay again
Please see this on the main site for further info:

There is nothing in the Play version of AquaMail's unlocker to limit you to one device (e.g. IMEI, serial number checks, etc.)

Thank you, Kostya!
After reading all the FAQ's for Aqua Mail and how to have multiple Google accounts on the same device, I knew the procedure, but was not sure if Aquamail could work across Google play accounts.
It worked like a charm!
Thanks!

Kostya, the message you responded to was posted in 2014.
It's an old thread (I've even forgotten I had started it...), - with only one new posting (prior to yours).

Darn. Maybe I should change post dates to a gigantic font size and add <blink>.
