Hi,
I may be doing something wrong. I just got an HTC One (M8). I need instant notification of my work email running on Exchange. I don't need much, just the notification and a widget on the main screen. The default mail app shows notifications but no widget.
I installed Nine and put in my email info. Here are the settings:
username: myemail@mydomain<dot>com
server: webmail.mydomain.com
security type: SSL Accept all
Port: 443
Sync: Automatic (Push)
This app notified me of new emails almost instantly, put no widget. :(
I installed AquaMail, put in my email info, same as above. Server type is set to EWS. No push notifications.
Is there a way to get push notifications? I hate to have it poll the server every minute because I'm sure it will eat up a lot of battery.
Thanks.
