Title: How to get notification to show only actually new messages?
Post by: Gnopps on April 03, 2014, 04:59:37 pm
In my inbox there are thousands of unread messages. Whenever I get a new message Aquamail correctly displays a notification. However, the notification lists all unread, instead of only unread since last notification. I've got Settings->Notifications set to display only new but that doesn't help.

How do I get the notification to show only actual new mail, not all unread?

Are you running one of the recent development builds?

The 1.3.8 in Play always lists the total unread count.

Since development version 1.3.9, there is a setting for the app to only notify about, and count, only "truly new" unread messages:

If you decide to try it, please use the latest-at-the-time development build.
