Today i had some emails bounced. The bounce messages suggested a reporting process that i could use to attempt to undo the block. Thus, to report as not spam a message that was blocked as having a spam fingerprint. Outlook on a pc allows an entire email to be sent *as an attachment*, not as a forward, but i cannot see if aqua mail can do this.
The link http://mailreport.co.uk/FAQ/CMAE_PreFilter explains not only why my messages were bounced "false positive" but also how to report that the block was wrong.
Even a test message with subject test and body test was bounced, but the messages were sent properly if i connected via my home wifi. The bounced ones were sent by a tethered iphone.
I would like to be able to send feedback in the way described in the link, but am pretty sure aqua mail cannot do this. Is that right?

Clarification - the messages that bounced were sent from my google nexus tablet tethered to my iphone acting as a wifi access point and connecting via 3g network.
The server is one linked to my hosting account on 1und1.de (not my isp)
Clearly i am not using aqua mail on an iphone!

Sorry, Aqua does not have a feature to forward messages as .eml attachments.

Workarround: In Mailview go to menu "Copy/Forward/Print" and paste the mailbody and the mailheader in a new Mail. So every information needed is in it. Unfortunately not the fastest way ;-)

interesting. Can this be automated Kostya?

"Forward as attachment" (.eml) won't be happening for a while, sorry.

Hello
By now, AquaMail does support saving emails in eml-format.
It seems to me, that the initial request from this threat, to forward email as an attachment in eml-format, should be more or less easy to implement now. Isnt't it?
This would be handy, because it would allow the user to forward an email to a to-do-service, making the email a task, and to re-open it later from there in order to reply to it.
(My personal feature optimization would be: send to a pre-set forward-to-address by a slider action. Then I could make any email a task with just a slide. This would be heaven. ;) )
Kind regards, Hauke

Hi, yes you can append an eml-file as attachment.
Unfortunately when saving a message to eml, the subject is limited to 32 chars and will be cut off.

Hello Justin
I was assuming that I can append eml-files as attachments, just like any other file.
What I would like to do is something, that PC email programs, like Thunderbird, offer as a regular function that can be executed from a menu: When you view the email, forward it and in the new FW-mail, the "old" email is an attachment.
So, to be very clear, with Thunderbird as an example software:
1. The user selects an email in an email folder.
The selected email's name is "Apple tree"
2. The user clicks: Message - Forward As - Attachment.
3. The application opens a new email named "Fwd: Apple tree".
This email has an attachment: "Apple tree.eml"
It would be great if this way to forward a message would become supported in AquaMail.
I thought that now that there is eml-support, this should be easy.
If the Subject gets truncated, it is not much of a problem for me, personally.
Kind regards, Hauke
